PsychoFuzz started as an idea between songwriter/musicians, Ethan Ventresca (drums) and Ty Jacobs (guitar/vocals), while enduring the pandemic lockdowns/remote schooling. With multiple aligned music interests, Ethan and Ty sought out a third player to complete the band’s sound.
Owen Forsyth (guitar/bass) joined and PsychoFuzz was born. PsychoFuzz was created to be an original psychedelic progressive-rock trio, reminiscent of Pink Floyd, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, and more modern bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Black Keys, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, The Dear Hunter and Wolf Van Halen’s- Mammoth, blending multiple eras and genres in an attempt at a new psychedelic fusion. PsychoFuzz has released their first EP of original music written by the trio, which you can listen to now on most streaming services.
